She is survived by: her husband Carroll Mitchell; her children, Kelly Mitchell (Karen) of Kalona, Iowa and Heidi Peterson of Johnston, Iowa; her granddaughters, Morgan Peterson of Johnston and Dakota Mitchell of Kalona, Iowa; and her siblings, Sharon Bannister of Omaha, Linda Colson of Omaha, Nebraska and John (Susan) of Vancouver, Washington. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
