He is survived by: his children, Harry Ostiz (Connie) of Huntington Beach, California, Mary Adams of Des Moines, Iowa, Troy Shelley (Mary), Elizabeth Herring (Ron) and Amy Johnson; and his grandchildren, Matt Ostiz (Amanda), Justin Ostiz (Sarah), Greg Howser (Stephanie), Avery Herring, Madeline and Elle Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Adel Public Library.
