It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jack Verlyn Paulson of West Des Moines, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia; and his parents, Lloyd and Mildred. He is survived by: his children, Vicki Herold (Robert) and Scott Paulson (Cami); his stepdaughter Lynn Woolsey; his grandchildren, Cody Herold (Cassy), Cole Herold, Michael Richmond (Sadie), Eric Richmond and Jordan Shafer; and his great grandchildren, Emery, Karter, Becket and Alex.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Overton Funeral Home (501 W Ashland Ave, Indianola, IA 50125). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to the family for a donation at a later date.
