He is survived by: his mother Shelly Fredrick (Steve); his siblings, Jennifer Birch (Andy), Mason Anderson and Heather Anderson; his grandfather Jerry Ruis (Judy); and his aunt Marty. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Westown Parkway (3601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50265).
