She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Bentley and Hazel Bentley; her stepfather William Walker; and her sister Linda Platz. She is survived by: her husband Randall; her children, Grant Croat (Catie) and Grace Croat; her stepchildren, Chad Croat and Aubrey Harris (Joey); her sisters, Shirley Sovereign (Dave) and Jane Gadow (John); and her brother-in-law Gary Platz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Hope (925 Jordan Creek Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Hope West Des Moines.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family or to the Pink Tractor Foundation.
