We bid farewell to Joseph R. Lane Sr. of West Des Moines, Iowa, born in Peoria, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 14, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his sons, Mark Lane and Paul Lane; and his sister Theresa Carland. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Lane; his children, Joseph Lane Jr. and Kathy Adamson (David); his daughters-in-law, Connie Lane and Leisha Lane; his sister Janet DeShaw; and his former wife Joanne Lane. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Sacred Heart Catholic Church (1627 Grand Ave, West Des Moines, IA 50265). A Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
