It is with sadness that the passing of Kenneth Walter Stifel (West Des Moines, Iowa) is shared. Kenneth, born on February 22, 1937, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stifel and Alberta Stifel (Youtz). He is survived by: his wife Gaye Stifel (Griffin); his children, Kendra Sales (Will), Dave Stifel, Tom Stifel, Barb Silvers (Dave), Jeff Stifel and Jon Stifel (Karen); his grandchildren, Anthony Hamblin (Doug), William, Amelyne Sales, Jack Stifel, Abie, Nick, Tori Stifel, Jessie Cox, Katie Bell (Tanner), Brandie, Rebecca Stifel and Nate Stifel; his sister-in-law Gayla Wobken; his uncle Ken; and his aunt Gaye. He is also survived by her children and grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the McLaren's Resthaven Chapel (801 19th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Resthaven Cemetery (801 19th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265).
