He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Stone and Vivian Stone (Tolle); his sister Charlotte Draman; his brother-in-law Raymond Draman; and his nephew Christopher Draman.
He is survived by: his wife Darla; his children, Jim Stone, Jessica Ruebsam (James) and Scott Peters (Gwen Olney); his grandchildren, Matthew, Trenton, Harry, Rosie, Charlie, Dylan, Ethan and Megan; his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Rowan and Harrison; and his brother David Stone.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dunn's Chapel (2121 Grand Ave, Des Moines, IA 50312). A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
