He is survived by: his wife Edie; his children, Francis James (Amy Hargus), Michael and Meghan; his grandchildren, Henry and Rylee; his great grandchild Murphy; his stepsons, Joe Butler (Leah) and Pete Butler (Ashley); and his grandchildren, Grady, Bennett, Lauren, Graham, Nora and Max Butler.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Hope (925 Jordan Creek Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50266).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Lutheran Church of Hope.
