With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lois Jean Tuttle in West Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on May 28, 2026 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Porter and Ola Porter; her husband Merril; her daughter Vanna Tuttle; and her siblings, Harold Porter, Walter Porter, Jr., Ardis Allen and Evelyn Porter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Becky Abbott (Greg), Sherry Opsal (Steve) and Debbie Mann (Randy); her grandchildren, Jed Hoffman (Beth), Michael Abbott, Allison Abbott, Elissa Abbott, Brian Abbott, Abbot Flatt, Jeff Opsal (Nikki), Greg Opsal (Katie), Dan Opsal (Lisa) and Luke Mann; and her brother-in-law Gene Tuttle (Sandi). She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to St Croix Hospice or TWR (Trans World Radio.).
