She was predeceased by: her parents, Darrell Reichling and Helen Reichling (Battles); her husband Bill Risser; her parents-in-law, Dr. Clay Risser and Ruth Risser; her brother Chuck Reichling; and her brother-in-law Bob Risser.
She is survived by: her children, Alison Risser and Cameron Risser (Susan); her granddaughters, Shannon Daurelle-Brown (Joe) of Ankeny and Haleigh Leach (Nick) of Waukee; and her sisters-in-law, Jeanne Risser and Mona Reichling.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Marilou Risser Memorial Fund has been established.
