She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Rossos and Nora Rossos (James); her husband Elmer Nelson; her son Norman; her stepson Albert; her stepdaughter-in-law Mary Jo Cole; and her sister Beverly.
She is survived by: her children, Harold Nelson of Silverton, Oregon, Leonard Nelson (Merry Sue), Gene Nelson of Iowa City and Vania Kirkpatrick (Leo) of West Liberty; her stepson Elmer Nelson of Gainesville; and her stepdaughter-in-law Dorothy Nelson of Cambridge, Minnesota. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren.
