He is survived by: his stepdaughter Emily Abbas (Cory Abbas); his wife Artis Reis (Van Roekel); his daughter Shannon (Kevin); his stepgrandchildren, Rowen and Crey; and his siblings, Jim Smith (Cindy), John (Gail Ward) and Margee Stamper (Bill). He is also survived by sisters and brothers-law and their children and grandchildren.
