She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Wright Barnes and Rose Barnes (Toltin); her husband Reed Blobaum; and her sister Barbara Cotter. She is survived by: her children, Stephen Blobaum (Denise), David Blobaum of Pleasant Hill and Jody McNaughton (Ryan) of Minneapolis, Minn.; her sisters, Janice Friedmeyer and Bobbi Lawrence (Terry) of Baton Rouge; and her grandchildren, Rose Blobaum of Des Moines and Lyra Blobaum.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the Alzheimer's Association or Hope Animal Rescue of Iowa.
