He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Walter, Delores Nees, HJ and Nayda Nibe. He is survived by: his parents, Gary Nees and Candace Nees (Nibe) of Blairsburg, IA; his daughters, Scarlett and Hazelle Nees; his brother Matthew Nees (Cynthia) of Anchorage, AK; his nieces and nephews, Finn, Hannah, Amelia and Wren Nees; his aunts and uncles, Don Nibe (Becky) of Albia, IA, Dallas Nibe (Becky) of Yuma, AZ, Linda Petersen (Steve) of Carroll, IA, Renae Babcock (Randy) of Odebolt, IA and Randy Nees (Jane) of Pocahontas, IA; and his former wife Amanda Nees of Waukee, IA. He is also survived by many cousins, other extended family members and friends.
IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, memorials will be donated to Storm Lake St. Mary's School and/or the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
