He was predeceased by : his parents, Clarice R. Scott (Nash) and Ralph Scott; his wife Carol Scott; his brother Bernard Scott (Virginia); his sister-in-law Lynnette Scott; his son Kevin Scott; and his grandson Jason Heller.

He is survived by : his daughters, Debra Heller (Gary), Karen Robertson (Bill) and Sue Hoffman (Bill); his brother Gerald Scott (Jeanne); and his close friend Marjorie Wakefield. He is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
