She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Ware and Irvin Ware. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Roy Simon; her uncle Marlin Lutz; and her cousins, Nancy Sortino, Lori Ruppe and Sandy Sullivan.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McLaren's Resthaven Chapel (801 19th St, West Des Moines, IA 50265). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Any memorials in her name may be sent to the Salvation Army or a charity of the giver's choice.
