Richard Adair Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Adair in West Des Moines, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 5, 2025 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Adair to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Laverne and Virginia Doris Anderson Adair; his brother Gary Adair; and his daughter-in-law Shawna Adair. He is survived by: his wife Olivia Adair; his son David Richard Adair of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Abby, Allie and Nick; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Adair, Jarvis Tseng and Ezra Tseng.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
