He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross Davis and Florence Davis; and his siblings, Edward Davis, Harriett Handeland and Evelyn Miles.
He is survived by: his brother Leonard Davis of Nevada, IA; and his children, Debra Powell of Elkhart, IA, Diane Christain of Melborne, IA and Robert Davis Jr. of Maxwell, IA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
