He was predeceased by: his parents, James McLaughlin and Lucy McLaughlin (Balster); his brothers, James and Donald McLaughlin; and his nephew John McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Steve McLaughlin (Carol), Tom McLaughlin, Angela McLaughlin and Andrea McLaughlin. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephews, and great-great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Westown Parkway (3601 Westown Pkwy, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
