Stephen R. Geiss Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 5, 2025, at the age of 73, Stephen R. Geiss of West Des Moines, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father J. Richard Geiss; and his sister Lori Cooper. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Ann Geiss (Berger); his wife Susan; his daughters, Stephanie Cassady (Mike) and Shellie McGhee (Carson); his grandchildren, Case, Lauren, Reese, Cora Cassady, Marley and Maxi McGhee; and his sisters, Holly Wood (David) and Heidi Einhorn (Walter). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to EveryStep Hospice, Kavanagh House, in gratitude for the outstanding care and compassion they provided to Stephen and his family.
