He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Harms and Iris Harms; his wife Diane; and his brother-in-law Virgil Powell. He is survived by: his children, Kelie Gray of Dillon, CO, Tisha Taylor (Nate) of Golden, CO, Lindsay Juhl (Travis) of Ankeny, IA, Britni Smith (Cody) of Ankeny, IA and Jordan Harms (Judy) of Grinnell, IA; his grandchildren, Tanner, Parker, Kendal Gray, Beate, Lucy, Olivia Taylor, Georgia, Gabriella Juhl, McKinli, Calvin, Bentley Smith, Vincent, Willa and Piper Harms; and his siblings, Bette Powell and Tom Harms (Kim). He is also survived by the oldest of three siblings.
In lieu of flowers and in support of Steve's passions, memorial contributions may be made directly to the Poweshiek County Pheasants Forever Chapter, Upper Iowa University, or plant a tree in his honor, which would bring him great joy.
