He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Murray Heston and Josephine Katherine Heston; his sons, Thomas John Heston (TJ) and Todd Heston; and his sisters, Ellen Piper and Patricia Harms.
He is survived by: his children, Renee Johnson (Alleman), Keith Heston (Des Moines) and Hannah Tomlinson (Des Moines); his grandchildren, Gavin Johnson, Dalton Johnson, Harley Heston, Michael Tomlinson and Aurora Tomlinson; and his siblings, Rodney Heston (Brenda), John Heston, Sandy Heston and Joyce Heston. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
