He is survived by: his former wife Jo Ann Smith; his daughters, Sarah VanderSluis (Steve) and Michelle Gergis; his stepchildren, Brandon (Michelle) and Leigh Ann Curtis; his grandson Steven (Madison); and his great grandchildren, Maxwell and Livia.
