It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wendy Sue Rech (West Des Moines, Iowa), who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Wendy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She is survived by: her husband Stephen; her sons, Jon (Amy), Tim (Tami) and Mark (Katie); and her siblings, Kim Welch and Steve Burch. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Covenant Presbyterian Church (1025 28th St, West Des Moines, IA 50266). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
