She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Wheeler, and Anna Wheeler, Sr. (Fullenkamp); and her husband Arthur William Menke. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Fullenkamp (Roger) of West Point, Marisue Menke of Minnetonka, Minnesota, Sam Menke (Suzanne) of Donnellson and Charlie Menke (Linda Johnson) of Dunlap, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Alex Fullenkamp (Brianna), Josh Fullenkamp (Kaitlyn), Trevor Menke (Christine), Brice Menke (Teja Fischer), Ellie Menke and Mitchell Menke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established in her memory for the West Point Library Book Club or the Southeast Iowa Regional Hospice House.
