With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Raymond David Spiekermeier of West Point, Iowa, who passed away on November 15, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond J. Spiekermeier and C. Lucille Spiekermeier (Sickles); his wife Charlotte Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Sharon Sander, Dean Thompson and Duane Sartain; his niece Andrea Sartain; and his cousin Mary Kay Lampe.
He is survived by: his daughter Jean Tennant (Jim) of West Point, Iowa; his grandsons, Chance Tennant (Kenzie) of West Point and Chase Tennant (Jenna) of Norwalk, Iowa; his great grandchildren, J. J. and Zoey; his siblings-in-law, Audrey Diane of Sierra Vista, Janet Horstman of Denmark, Iowa and John Sander of Farmington, Iowa; his sibling's children, Dean Sartain (Angela) of Williamsburg, Shawn Thompson (Kim) of Wever, Sandra, Jennifer, Kandys, Paula and Lori; and his cousins, Mark Lampe, Wayne Lampe, Craig Lampe, Theresa Freeman, Linda Wahlgren and Joanne Greubel. He is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews.
A memorial has been established in his memory for West Point Fire and Rescue.
