We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Rita Pomberg of West Point, Iowa, born in Fort Madison, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Grimwood and Anna Grimwood (Hellige); her siblings, Ronald, Raymond, Roy Grimwood and Ruthie Casaley; her son-in-law John Ketcham; and her sister-in-law Marcy Grimwood.

She is survived by : her husband Stan Pomberg; her children, Larry Pomberg of West Point, John Pomberg (Lisa) of West Point, Linda Ketcham of Marshalltown, Linette Boden (John) of Norwalk and Wayne Pomberg (Angela) of Kingwood, Texas; her grandchildren, Jeremy Pomberg, Logan Pomberg, Yolanda Aring (Joe), Robin Pomberg, Dawn Quick, Tyler Pomberg, Mikayla Pomberg, Mike Ketcham (Kerri), Mark Ketcham (Natalie), Stephanie Adamoyurka (Jason), Nathan Boden (Krystal), Maria Kittle (Dakota), Andrew Boden (Hilary) and Daniel Boden; and her great grandchildren, Trevor, Derek, Makenzie, Lexi, Zoey, Jack, Cole, Wyatt, Isabelle, Elizabeth and Catherine. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her memory for St. Mary's Catholic Church or West Point Fire and Rescue.
