She was predeceased by: her parents, John Leick and Josephine Leick (Sigwarth); her husband Merle; her siblings, Norb, Tony, Vern and Rita Link; and her granddaughter Stephanie Brockway.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Brockway (Kevin) of West Union, IA, Steve "JJ" Lahey of West Union, IA and Michelle Gonzales (Mike); her granddaughter Jill Dittmer of Iowa City, IA; and her brothers, Melvin Leick and Ken Leick (Tara). She is also survived by five grandchildren; five great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (128 N Walnut St, West Union, IA 52175). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
