Lynn Ingamells Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lynn Ingamells of West Union, Iowa, who passed away on September 27, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kyle Samuel and Hazel Alyce Ingamells (King); his siblings, Shirley Ingamells, Audrey Neuman, Duane Ingamells, Earl Ingamells and Eldon Ingamells; his siblings-in-law, Louis Fleener, Ione Ingamells and Judith Ingamells; and his nephews, Gary Ingamells and Allen Ingamells.
He is survived by: his stepdaughters, Kim Thomsen of Thornton, Kandi Fanton of Marion and Kara Rentschler (Travis) of Marion; his son Eric Ingamells of Las Vegas, Nevada; his grandchildren, Madison, Alec and Kennedy Rentschler; his sister Sharon Fleener of Ames; and his sisters-in-law, Wilda Ingamells of Independence and June Ingamells of Oelwein. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home (221 N Frederick Ave, Oelwein, IA 50662). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
