He was predeceased by : his parents, Louis Rickers and Anna Rickers (Weller); his brother Vernon; his wife Linda Mae Preston; his in-laws, Vernon Rickers (Elsie), Lloyd Rickers (Shirley), Lowell Rickers and Louise Meals (Ron); his parents-in-law, Dean and Irma Preston; his in-laws, Lola Preston and Dale Preston; and his nieces, Michelle Davis and Ann Krummen.

He is survived by : his children, DeAnn (Jim), Denise (Jerry), Lou (Deb) and Bill (Rashelle); his sister-in-law Lois Rickers (Lowell); his in-laws, Dean Preston (Jan), Henry Preston (Maria) and Lory Krummen (Jeff); and his nephew Russell Rickers. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
