He is survived by: his significant other Barb Ballantine of Omaha, Nebraska; his daughters, Kelly Nieman (Sam Corbitt) of Omaha and Kristina Rutledge (Zach Loder) of Omaha; his grandchildren, Max, Alana Nieman, Ellie and Gavin Rutledge; his stepgrandchildren, Jesse, Peyton and Avalyn Loder; his siblings, Dan, George, Donnie (Sue), Kurt, Karl and Tina; and his stepbrothers, John and Leroy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; other extended family members; and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Huebner Funeral Home (105 Eagle St, Westside, IA 51467). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
