With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Huisman of Westside, Iowa, born in Prairie City, Iowa, who passed away on December 6, 2023 at the age of 103. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Huisman to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Harry DeHaan and Margaret DeHaan; her husband Ralph Huisman, Jr.; her son Bruce; her daughter-in-law Sandy; her siblings, Lenore Keller, Bob Van Arkel and Fred DeHaan; and her grandson Daniel Huisman (Lexie).

She is survived by : her son Terry Huisman (Lynn); her daughter-in-law Gail Huisman; her granddaughters, Angela Thomas (Jack) and Emily Meier (David); and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Madison and Mason. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
