She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Tipton and Hazel Sole Tipton; her siblings, Bobby, Mike, Rodney and Bonnie Steinkamp; and her sister-in-law Mary Tipton.

She is survived by: her husband Wayne Mabeus; her daughter Lydia Crowther (Brenden); her grandson Colson Crowther of Wever; her siblings, Mary Ewing (Bob) of Hannibal, MO, JoAnne Dirkschneider (Tom) of Lincoln, NE, Teresa Klingele of Quincy, Jim Tipton (Vickie) of Quincy, Donald Tipton, Jr. (Sandy) of Quincy and Chris Tipton (Lisa) of Quincy; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Young and Sue Tipton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established for St. Jude Children's Hospital or West Point Care Center and may be mailed to Wayne Mabeus.
