It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Baker of Wever, Iowa, who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorraine H. Baker and Naomi L. Luke Baker. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne S. Boyle of Wever; his children, Richard Baker (Tammy) of Ft. Madison, Dawn Greene (Ted) of Phoenix, AZ and Lori Hetrick (Bill) of Carman, IL; his grandchildren, Amanda, Brittany, Raquel, Brad, Katee and Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Kaleb, Dylan, Sophia, Mason, Naomi, Barrett and Bennett. He is also survived by one brother; and two sisters.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Prugh Funeral Service (3940 Division St, Burlington, IA 52601). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 3:10 PM at the Aspen Grove Cemetery (2043 Sunnyside Ave, Burlington, IA 52601).
