She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Brenden and Freeda Brenden (Carlson); her child Bert; her husband Bertel "Bert" McCandless; her son-in-law Mark Schaaf; and her siblings, Arnold Brenden (Nancy), Donna Williams, Gale Brenden (Joanne), Doris Nelson (Barney) and Lois Leapley (Neil).
She is survived by: her children, Ardis, Dennis McCandless (Teresa) and Terry Schaaf; her grandchildren, Amanda McCandless, Jake Steiner (Amanda), Abigail Steiner, Sarah Fegenbush (Wade) and Scott McCandless; her stepgrandchildren, Brandon Schaaf, Dustin Schaaf, Matt Seitzinger and Gretchen Trotter (William); her great grandchildren, Bradyn, Jaylee, Hannah, Gracee and Kallie; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Blake, Madelynn, Brody, Jaden, Camden, Logan, Tyler, Ellie and Will. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
