He was predeceased by: his parents, James Pierick and Vera Pierick (Martens); his grandparents, Bernard "Barney", Camilla "Tillie" Pierick (Thompson), Thomas and June Martens (Strawn); and his brother Ray Pierick.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Pierick of Omaha and Kysa Carter (Cayden) of Parks, Arkansas; and his siblings, Patty Pierick, Dr. Camilla Frederick (Bill), Sue Gooch (Mike), Mary Gates (Joe), Donna Christophersen, Jack Pierick, Joe Pierick (Trudy), Larry Pierick, Frank Pierick and Kathi Knobloch (Tadd). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Goslar Funeral Home Chapel (1629 10th St, Onawa, IA 51040).
