He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ralph, Sally Koppen (Cecilia), Paul Anliker and Gary Harken. He is survived by: his parents, David Koppen and Diane Koppen (Anliker); his wife Kendra Koppen; his son Bentlee Jerico Koppen; his brother Jared; his sister-in-law Chyan Koppen; his nieces and nephews, Carter and Myles Koppen; his parents-in-law, Lowell and Vickie Roethler; his sister Brandi; his brother-in-law Nick Diers; his nieces and nephews, Landon, Madi and Lucas Diers; his sister Kandice; his brother-in-law Allan Pattillo; his nephew James Pattillo; and his grandmother Joann Harken. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

In lieu of flowers memorials can be made in Matt's name to his family.
