Beverly Kay Gillaspie Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Beverly Kay Gillaspie of Williamsburg, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 14, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Charles and Delpha LaVelma Spurgeon (Horn); her siblings, Verlin Spurgeon, Lowell Spurgeon, James Spurgeon, Lois McCormick and Roma Spurgeon; and her son-in-law Johnny Ray Cox.
She is survived by: her husband John Earl Gillaspie of Williamsburg; her children, Kimberly Sue Cox of North English and Charles Grover Gillaspie (Ann) of Marion; her grandchildren, Gabriel Cox (Dana) of Cedar Rapids, Gideon Cox (Lindsay) of North Liberty, Grayson Cox of St. Louis, Hunter Gillaspie of Chicago and Alex Gillaspie of Chicago; her great grandchildren, Kaelyn Cox and Emery Cox; and her brother Ronald Spurgeon of Wilton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Williamsburg.
