She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lester and Genevieve Inez Hicks (Metcalfe); her daughter Susan Ohrberg; and her sister Reta Harlan. She is survived by: her husband Dwight Alfred Lorenz; her stepchildren, Michael Lorenz (Deb) of Des Moines, Vickie Wirth (Ray) of Nevada, Kim Daugherty (Perry) of Centerville, Kelly Lorenz (Sandy) of Marengo and Tony Lorenz of Boone; and her brother-in-law David Harlan of Mahomet, IL.. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Lutheran Interparish School or St. Paul Lutheran Church.
