Esther Young Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Young (Williamsburg, Iowa), who passed away on May 27, 2026 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Esther Young to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jahlas and Maria Jahlas Sr. (Burke); her husband Vernon Sandersfeld; her son Keith Trimpe; her granddaughter Abbey Lynn Trimpe; her great grandchild Tate Schaefer; her son-in-law Terry Arp; and her siblings, Harold, Bill, LaVerne, Raymond Jahlas, Mildred Trimpe and Marie Trimpe.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Trimpe (Rita) of Williamsburg, Diane Von Ahsen (Gene) of Homestead, Beverly Arp of Oxford and Dean Trimpe (Linda) of Williamsburg; and her stepsons, Steve Sandersfeld (Becky) and David Sandersfeld. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; numerus great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established for Lutheran Interparish School or St. John’s Lutheran Church Homestead.
