With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George C Werner (Williamsburg, Iowa), who passed away on September 4, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John T. Werner and Olga Werner (Heitshusen); and his brother John F. Werner. He is survived by: his wife Marlene Cross of Williamsburg; his children, Todd Werner (Paula) of Solon and Rochelle Dietiker (Tim) of Anamosa; his grandchildren, Logan Wolfe, Colin, Brent, Kendall Werner, Kole, Nathan and Kala Dietiker; and his siblings, Dave Werner (Lois) of Williamsburg and Marilyn Wichmann (Earl) of Homestead.

A memorial fund has been established for Essence of Life Hospice and Immanuel Lutheran Church.
