With sadness, we share the passing of George Hunt of Williamsburg, Iowa. George, born on October 19, 1952, passed away on October 14, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Hunt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Keith and Norma Jean Hunt (Myers); his grandson Grayson Schminke; and his in-laws, Clyde and Fern Littlejohn.
He is survived by: his wife Sheila Rae Littlejohn; his children, Melissa Hunt of Cedar Rapids, Kristin Schminke (Dion) of Parnell and Devin Hunt (Holly) of North English; his grandchildren, Maci and Jack Hunt; his pets, Milo and Lane; his sister Judy Stone; and his sister-in-law Sherry Veldhuizen (Norman).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Langkamp Funeral Chapel (2116 N 3rd St, Oskaloosa, IA 52577). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to Amazin' Grayson Foundation or the Iowa County Fair.
