He was predeceased by: his parents, James John and Clarrita Ellen Lillis Jr. (O'Rourke); his wife Judy; his siblings, Steve, Bill Lillis, Kathleen McKeen and Mary Clare Moen; and his brothers-in-law, Dick McKeen and Jarvis "Bud" Williams.
He is survived by: his sons, Jim Lillis (Gail) of Buffalo Grove, Dan Lillis (Cheryl) of Williamsburg and Dave Lillis (Claire) of St. Louis, Missouri; his grandchildren, Dr. Katie Seaman, Logan Rolles, Erin Lillis, Sarah Lillis, Megan Lillis, Adeline Lillis, John Lillis (Charlie), Joe Lillis and Catherine Lillis; his siblings, Roseann Williams and Terry Lillis (Joyce); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Moen and Kathleen Lillis. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for: Williamsburg Fire Department, Knights of Columbus and Give Til It Hurts.
