He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lehnst and Donna Lehnst; his brother Bobby Lehnst; his parents-in-law, Lyall and Nadine Gardner; his sister-in-law Rita Johnston; and his nephew Alan Gardner.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanie; his children, Jason Lehnst (Tammy Houlihan) and Jamie Patterson (Steve); his grandchildren, Jeana (Damien), Jackson, Jagger, Joesyn, Jase and Jennix; his great grandchild Juniper; his siblings, Vicki Adams (Jeff), Karen Munch (Doug) and Mike Lehnst (Ronda); his aunt Dixie Harrison; and his brothers-in-law, Dale Gardner (Janet) and Paul Gardner (Betty). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild with another great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home (407 N Highland St, Williamsburg, IA 52361). A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul United Methodist Church (803 Clearview Dr, Williamsburg, IA 52361).
A general memorial fund has been established.
