She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Zuber and Marjorie Zuber (Leahy); her brothers, Richard Zuber and Dale Zuber; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Zuber and Max Dirks.
She is survived by: her husband David N. Jones of John's Lutheran Church; her children, Megan Schiebel (Matt) of Washington, Beth Runkle (Tony) of Bettendorf, Ryan Jones (Kasey) of Conroy and Abby Meyer (Andy) of Swisher; her grandchildren, Grace, Luke, Callie Schiebel, Boone, Tate Runkle, Maiha, Natalie, Nolan Jones, Noah, Ellie and Will Meyer; her siblings, Larry Zuber (Fran) of North Liberty, Karen Dirks of Scotch Grove and Marty Gahring of Georgia; and her sister-in-law Barbara Zuber of Williamsburg.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Home-Williamsburg (407 N Highland St, Williamsburg, IA 52361). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established for Essence of Life Hospice or the Holden Comprehensive Cancer Center at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
