She was predeceased by: her sister-in-law Deb Hudepohl. She is survived by: her husband Allan Burns; her children, Paul Manrique (Katie) of Florida, Debbie Pyle (Dennis) of Cedar Rapids, Stacy Perez (John) of Van Horne and Jenny Rogers of Virginia; her grandchildren, Micha, Tzion, Caitlyn, Ryan, Heather, Micheal, Shawn, Destiny, Eli, David, Steph and Alric; and her siblings, Keith Hudepohl of Marengo and Julie Hohenshell (Dave) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Teahen Funeral Home (3100 F Ave NW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52405). A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Instead of flowers family request memorials may be directed to The Shueyville Church All God's Children daycare in Marlene's name.
