Vickie L. Akers Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vickie L. Akers of Williamsburg, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 16, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Vickie farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Vickie is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (504 S Highland St, Williamsburg, IA 52361). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In leu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for the Veterans Liberty Center in Iowa City.
