William Wellington Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Wellington of Williamsburg, Iowa, who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Gene and Linnea Marie Walker Wellington. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Lovelock Wellington; his sons, Skye Wellington (Tiffany) of Williamsburg and Jesse Wellington (Stephanie) of Williamsburg; and his grandchildren, Hayden, Esther and Oliver.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Salvation Army.
