He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lenker and Mildred Lenker (Noble); his wife Colleen; his daughter Connie D'Hooge; his grandchildren, Gary Beard Jr. and Amanda Alemond; and his sister Kay McConahay.
He is survived by: his children, Pam Downing (Rich) of Davenport, Sherry Boatman (Richard) of Troy, IL and Chuck Hood of Denver, Colorado; and his nephews, Brett McConahay (Kathy) of Columbus City and Kip McConahay (Karen) of Columbus City. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
